Dressing up Power and Might - Tosca costumes on display at the AuroraDressing up Power and Might – opens tomorrow at the Aurora Theatre in Victoria, where the custom-made opera costumes used in performance of Tosca on Saturday evening will be on display.

For this year’s opera production the Aurora Opera House teamed up with world-renowned artistic director Vivien Hewitt (resident at Festival Pucciniano at Torre del Lago, Italy), local couturier Luke Azzopardi and camilleriparismode design and textiles for a new artistic take on the Puccini operatic masterpiece.

A line of higher-end costumes, which, following their debut on stage, will now remain on display at the 19th century frescoed hall at the Aurora Opera House.

The exhibition is being held as part of the programme of events for Opera in Gozo Month, and is open to the public from 9am to 8pm, until the end of October, entrance is free of charge.
