Republic Day festivities in Victoria
The Gozo Federation Persons with Disability organised a seminar for its members and those working with the disabled. The conference focused on the rights of persons with disability and was addressed by Giovanna Debono, Minister for Gozo, Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, Mr Joe Camilleri, Chairperson KNPD, Dr Kevin Cutajar, President of the Gozitan Federation and Mr Alfred Bezzina, KNPD director.

Almost 500 missionaries gathered at the Gozo Cathedral for a special ceremony led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, which included the blessing of crosses that are to be worn by missionaries. Every home in Gozo will be visited by a missionary as part of the spiritual awakening during the Pauline Year.
