More House School Choir in Gozo for St John Paul II Feast celebration

The Liturgical Feast of Pope St John Paul II – which is on the 22nd of October – will be celebrated by the JP2 Foundation who will be hosting the More House School Choir from Knightsbridge, London.
This will be the choir’s second visit to Malta, on their first tour to the island they performed at Mdina Cathedral, the Anglican Cathedral in Valletta and the Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
The choir has recently toured to Germany, France, Italy, Malta, Portugal and North America, performing in Notre Dame de Paris and St. Mark’s Venice.
In the last few years they have sung at St Peter’s Basilica in Rome, St Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, Salzburg Cathedral and St Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna in Austria.
On their tour to Gozo, the choir of 35 girls will be animating the 6.30pm High Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Gozo Mgr Mario Grech Bishop, with the participation of all the members of the Gozo Catholic Action at Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu National Sanctuary, which will be live broadcast on TVM2. This will take place on Saturday, the 13th of October.
Then on the same evening at 7.45pm, the Gharb Local Council, together with Gharb Basilica Chapter, will be hosting the choir for a concert performance at the Visitation of Our Lady Parish Basilica in Gharb. The General Public is invited to attend.
