Aid to the Church in Need, on the 18th of October every year, organises one million children from all over the world to pray the Rosary for unity and peace in the world especially for the sake of fellow children in war-torn countries.
In collaboration with the Secretariat for Catholic Education and Fr. Reuben Gauci, Coordinator, Spiritual Development in Schools – Aid to the Church in Need (Malta) is once again inviting all Gozitan and Maltese children to join in this noble cause.
It said that “the world is in dire need of peace now more than ever, and hopefully the strength of so many little hearts will bring about the peace and unity that we seek.”
“We call on everyone, especially parents, grandparents, youth leaders and all those who have children in their care, to encourage and mobilise them to pray the Rosary together on the 18th of October at 9:00am or any other suitable time.
ACN added that groups and individuals who would like to participate in this event can contact them for the necessary information and material.
His Eminence Cardinal Mauro Piacenza, President and Fr. Martin M. Barta, Ecclesiastical Assistant of Aid to the Church in Need sent a message about this campaign.
“How often has experience shown us that the prayers of children especially have great power with God.”
