During the month of July Air Malta registered a 27% increase in passengers on its Malta based routes compared to the corresponding month last year, making it one of the main contributors to the growth registered by Malta International Airport, the airline has said.
The figures released by Air Malta today also show that during this month, a total of 228,982 passengers were carried by Air Malta to and from Malta.
“Month on month we are seeing double digit growth figures. Our growth strategy that saw us expand our services to 21 new markets, is bearing fruit. Forward bookings continue to remain strong for summer but we need to continue selling the additional capacity we floated on the market,” Paul Sies, Air Malta’s Chief Commercial Officer.
