`On the Go’ EU youth project with the ERRC at Dwejra

An `On the Go’ project, manged by Gozitan NGO, Emergency Response and Rescue Corp ( ERRC) was held during the first two weeks of August, in the form of a camping activity at Dwejra, Gozo
‘On the Go’ is a youth exchange project which involved over 60 youths from different EU countries: Malta, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Romania, Turkey, Slovakia, Poland, Greece and Lithuania.The ERRC said that the aim of the project was to develop the young peoples understanding, knowledge and experience on living active and healthy lifestyles, promote active citizenship, social solidarity and inclusion and respect and mutual understandings of different cultures.
A varied programme of activities were held in an effort to reach such goals, with participants actively involved in a mixture of outdoor activities, physical activities, workshops, talks, tutorials and culinary nights all intended to promote the main themes of the project.The ERRC said that the camp “helps to brings young people closer to nature and to each other, while enjoying basic living conditions set in an idyllic UNESCO world heritage site.”
The ‘On the Go’ project was made possible with financial support by Erasmus+ managed by the EUPA and supported by MEUSAC.
