Victoria Scout Group celebrates 55th birthday with a Blood DriveThe Scout motto is “Be Prepared,” and the National Blood Transfusion Service said that this goes for all of us, because it is in the public’s interest to always keep a good reserve of blood.

With this in mind, the Victoria Scout Group is organising a Blood Drive to celebrate its 55th birthday. The Group is inviting parents, supporters and friends to attend. For more details please contact GSL Lorrie on 7555844.

Those who enjoy good health and wish to donate can do so at the District Health Centre in Xewkija. The session will be held between 8:00am to 1:00pm (last registration until 1:00pm).

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

The Service thanks everyone who intends to donate.

I was a Kings scout ( that gives my age group away ) I learnt more about being a man in the scouts than anywhere,( and I hope, a gentleman ) all boys should be in the scouts. I loved to go camping in the summer, in England it teaches boys independence. and teaches a boy to look after himself and others. Keep up the good work.
