Health Ministry and MUMN reach agreement, industrial action called off

In a joint statement issued by the Ministry for Health and the MUMN, they said that an agreement had been reached on the main points regarding the sectoral agreement.
The statement went on to say that the directives issued by the MUMN for nurses and midwives working in public administration across Gozo and Malta have now been called off.
Meetings will continue between the two sides over the coming weeks between the to conclude the details of the agreement, it said.
The MUMN had instructed its members on Industrial Directives which started last Thursday in all hospitals, elderly residences and homes, health centres and other places of work.
