Sixteen people graduate in Gozo course for Maltese sign languageSixteen people have successfully completed a Maltese sign language training course in Gozo, this is the second time the course has been held on the island

The Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana and Parliamentary Secretary for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Active Ageing Anthony Agius Decelis, congratulated the graduates and presented them with their certificates/

Minister Caruana said that the commitment of the Ministry for Gozo in this area is achieving the desired results,with certain courses which were previously only provided in Malta are now being made available to Gozo.

Parliamentary Secretary Agius Decelis congratulated the Gozo Association for the Deaf for providing services and training to around 250 people in Gozo.

He stressed the importance of working together so that the disability sector continues to move forward, both in Malta and Gozo, with the Agenzija Sapport further extending its operations in Gozo through the Ghajnsielem Learning Hub.

Minister Justyne Caruana and Parliamentary Secretary Anthony Agius Decelis both congratulated the Gozo Association for the Deaf for the great work it has carried out over the last 30 years.
