Save Hondoq for all and give it public domain status - ZminijietnaZminijietna has urged the Minister of the Environment to initiate a process to give Hondoq ir-Rummien a public domain status.

In a statement, the left think-tank organisation said, “with regards the suggestion for a referendum on this issue, we appeal to the people behind this strategy to acknowledge that the Planning Authority Board had already voted unanimously against the proposed project.”

It added, “also, the residents of Qala are in the majority, against turning Hondoq ir-Rummien into a tourist village.”

Zminijietna concluded by stating that “the unused quarry should be rehabilitated to accommodate afforestation projects and the ecology surrounding the area should be fully protected for the future generations.”

I think that Qala should stop having Hondoq by night. This concert is loud and causes alot of noise for such a small village. Qala should remain peaceful and quiet. Why does Qala have to have Hondoq by night?

Hondoq ir-Rummien should be left as it is .Protected .The new builders would only think about making money and not envirorment.
