Dwejra sunset - An idea for public transport so tourists don't miss it“We are connected all the time through our phones, with up to the minute news, traffic jams, weather and also the exact time of sunrise and when the sun is going to abandon us for the night, yes sunset. It changes every day.

One of the best spots to watch this ‘Out of the World Experience’ is from Dwejra. I often go there with `Couch Surfers’ and while I wait for the sun to disappear behind the horizon I make a lot of friends, I take photos of tourists, show them where the Azure Window was and so on.

I use my personal car to go there but many use the Public Service and it is a heart breaking event when most of the tourist leave 10, 20 or 25 minutes before the sunsets. They have to go, otherwise, they miss the bus.

Wouldn’t it be possible that this particular bus will not have a fixed time, but leaves Dwejra differently each day 5 minutes after the predicted sunset time? Everyone can check the time we will have the sunset also the driver. On the time schedule, there will be written 5 minutes after sunset. This idea could also include the Hop-on-Hop-Off buses too.

I think if we want to keep on bringing tourists to Dwejra this would be a good incentive. Thank you.”
