The studio doors at Radju Lauretana were opened to the general public once again on New Years Day, allowing the people of Ghajnsielem to enter and view the voluntary work being done by all of the crew at Radju Lauretana.
Yet again the visitors were very generous with their donations and the grand sum of €2,110 was collected in just 12 hours. The crew said that the funds raised will help Radju Lauretana with the running costs that the radio station requires to continue transmitting it’s high quality programs around the world.
Many local people came to the studio to give their on air blessings for the New Year to all the listeners, and especially to those living abroad.
It was also announced that another week of live transmissions will be squeezed in this year to provide coverage of the feast of St. Anthony during the last week of May 2009.
The crew at Radju Lauretana said they would once again like to thank everyone and wish all their listeners a happy and prosperous New Year.
