Spring hunting: KSU insists upon upon the "observance of the law"The spring hunting season opens on Easter Sunday, until the 21st of April and Kaccaturi San Ubertu (KSU) in a statement wished a good hunting season to its members and all hunters.

KSU insisted upon the “observance of the law, personal quotas and the obligation to report any quail caught as required by regulations.”

In this respect KSU warned that, “without reservations, any members found in breach of the law by the Courts will have their membership revoked.”

KSU added said that it “assures its full commitment to rescind the moratorium on turtle dove shooting in spring proposed by the FKNK which, under the circumstances, shares the KSU’s support.”

“This spring hunting season is open only for Quail,” the KSU said, and “all other birds, including Turtle Dove, are protected species upon which heavy penalties for any abuse are applied.”

KSU concluded by saying that “any law breaking, including that of trespass over private property, are to be reported to the Police on telephone number 119.”
