FAA challenges MDA to stop "unbearable" construction dust and noiseA challenge has been made by ENGO Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar (FAA), for the Malta Developers Association to take immediate action “to stop their developer members from subjecting residents to unbearable construction dust, noise and inconvenience.”

FAA in a statement pointed out that as an example, “last weekend the Townsquare site, for which the planning application is still under appeal for the development, was subsumed in a cloud of construction dust, which turned the whole vicinity into a gritty nightmare for residents.”

This, the ENGO said, “flies in the face of PR claims that developers are adopting a new approach.”

FAA concluded by saying that it “challenges the MDA to come up with realistic solutions choosing community over cash, people over profit and health over high rise horrors.”
