The Gaulitanus Choir keeps it’s annual tradition next Saturday, the 3rd of January, and closes the festive season with a musical concert at the Ministry of Gozo Exhibition Hall in St Francis Square, Victoria, starting at 7.15pm.
The choir will be performing a range of Cristmas music from classical to pop. There will also be several soloists from the choir’s ranks, namely Stephanie Portelli, Maria Meilak, Anabelle Zammit, Charlene Borg, Josianne Callus, Marthese Borg, Stephanie Buttigieg, Tricia Fenech, Joseph Calleja and Joseph Buttigieg taking part. The choir’s resident pianist, Stephen Attard, will accompany them and Mro. Colin Attard, the choir’s founder-director, will be conducting.
Entrance to the concert is free of charge and everyone is warmly invited to attend.
This year the choir has also issued a Christmas CD “Gaulitanus at Christmas.” The CD costs €12 and can be purchased by calling 21560200, 99258592 or 99949949 and by e-mail on info@gaulitanus.com or at leading CD outlets.
