Elderly man and 3-year old boy seriously injured in Gozo accident

A 71-year-old man was seriously injured in collision between two cars last night in Triq l-Imgarr Ghajnsielem, and was taken by helicopter to the Mater Dei Hospital.
Gozo Police said that a 3-year old boy who was a passenger in one of the cars, was also seriously injured in the accident.
The accident happened at around 8.15pm, and involved a Smart Passion driven by the 71-year-old man from Ghajnsielem and a Toyota Passo driven by a 33 year-old man from Xewkija, who was not injured.
A 32-year-old woman and the 3-year-old boy were passengers in the Toyota Passo. Police said that the female passenger suffered slight injuries.
A Magisterial Inquiry was appointed and Police investigations are still ongoing.
