A reminder that tomorrow, Gozitan photographer Anthony Grech will be introducing his latest publication, ‘Gozo – The Island of Hills.’
As announced earlier this month, Grech challenges the perception of how Gozo is often described as “the island of the three hills.” In the book he visually documents more than 30 hills and hillocks scattered all around the island.
This new publication consists of more than 125 colourful images, which he said, were shot throughout several years of research and documentation.
He said that the “photographic evidence” is also backed up by geographical, cultural, linguistic, historical and religious captions for the reader.
There is a topographic map which illustrates all the hills and hillocks documented in this publication.
This new publication has 194 pages (297 x 210mm) and will be launched tomorrow, Friday, the 23rd of February, at the Santa Cecilja Medieval Chapel, Ghajnsielem, at 7.30pm, the event is open to the general public.
Anthony Grech said that anyone who wishes to acquire this new publication at the price of €30 each should send their name, address and contact telephone number, plus the number of books they wish to order to: Anthony Grech, ‘Gawferh,’ Triq tas-Salib, Xewkija, Ghawdex XWK 2924, and include a cheque made payable to Anthony Grech.
