Henry: A Tribunal – rehearsed reading with the 365 Company of Gozo

356 Company of Gozo will be performing a rehearsed reading of a new play by Rob Ricards, Henry: A Tribunal. The play explores Henry VIII legacy through a tribunal at which his wives bear witness.
Act One puts Henry VIII in a present day witness box and attempts to establish his feelings about many key moments of his reign.
In the second act the actor who has played Henry becomes the advocate, while the advocates from act one take on the challenge of his successive queens.
Their various reigns are examined in an attempt to understand the true nature of their characters. Some new ground may be broken.
365 Company said that there is a stellar cast, comprising of Manuel Cauchi, Polly March, Stephanie Carbonaro, Sue Scantlebury, Marion Sayers and Jayne Giordanella.
There will be cushions for seating and the bar next door will be open (from 7pm) for those attending the play only. Entrance is €5, there are only 100 places available.
Henry: A Tribunal is being performed at the Parish Centre in San Lawrenz, on Saturday, the 3rd of March, starting at 8pm.
