St Francis School students take part in Road Safety Trip CampaignStudents of St Francis School in Victoria, Gozo, recently took part in the Malta Public Transport Road Safety Trip Campaign, which is organised in collaboration with Fundación Mapfre Malta.

The children visited different areas during the trip, including Dwejra. The idea is for primary school children to have the opportunity to travel on a bus, in order to learn about how to use public transport safely.

All school children participating in the event have the opportunity to apply for a free Tallinja Child card.

The children also received an illustrated book entitled “Julia, Penguin and the Spy” by Carlo Frabetti.

This is an educational project by Fundación MAPFRE and is aimed at preventing child accidents and promoting road safety in the educational environment.

This initiative is open to all public, church and independent schools in Gozo and Malta.
