Alternattiva Demokratika – The Green Party said it is very worried at the second successive attack on a place of worship and repose, this time the cemetery of Safi.
Arnold Cassola, Alternattiva Demokratika Chairperson, said, “The choice of time, Christmas, and of places seems to be a deliberate choice, made by those who favour violence, intolerance, and lack of respect for diversity amongst peoples, races and religions.”
“The Maltese people should remain vigilant and ensure that the spirit of respect of diversity and of “others” remains the hallmark of our population, today and in the future,” concluded Prof. Cassola.
