Gozo blood donation sessions throughout February, starting Sunday

This Sunday, the 4th of February, is World Cancer Day, and the National Blood Transfusion Service said that the greatest demand for blood in this country is for cancer patients.
The National Blood Transfusion Service said that with this in mind, it is inviting healthy Gozitans to please take the time to donate this much needed blood, at a session taking place at the Gozo General Hospital on Sunday morning. Please see the details below.
A series of blood donation sessions will be held in Gozo throughout the month of February.
The Service said that these sessions will take place at the Outpatients Department of the Gozo General Hospital, Please also encourage others to donate if possible.
It is important that before you go to donate blood to drink a substantial amount of water, and take your ID card, driving license or Maltese passport. The Service thanks in advance everyone who intends to donate.
The sessions will be as follows:
Sunday, the 4th of February, from 8.00am to 1.30pm
Sunday, the 18th of February, from 8.00am to 1.30pm
Tuesday, the 13th of February, from 1.00pm to 5.00pm
Tuesday, the 27th of February, from 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
