More than 200 dancers took part in last night’s Gozo Christmas Parade, ensuring that this long Christmas weekend got off to a great start.
Large crowds lined Republic Street to watch the dancers in colourful costumes as they made their way up to Independence Square. The choreography was by Natalie Sciortino of the Centre Stage Academy.
Characters such as Father and Mother Christmas, as well as Christmas bells and animated characters for the festive season took part in the parade, much to the delight of the children in the audience.
At the end of the parade, Brass Tubes played for the audience at Independence Square.
The event was part of the programme of entertainment organised by the Christmas in Gozo for this festive season.
