Malta Junior Science Olympiad for science students held in Gozo

The fourth edition of the of the Malta Junior Science Olympiad, was held in Gozo yesterday at the Gozo College Secondary School in Victoria.
Organised by the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes in collaboration with the European Commission Representation in Malta, the event targets gifted and talented Year 11 (Form 5) science students from across Gozo and Malta.
The students, which were in teams of three from each participating school, worked on a set of three scientific investigative tasks related to the SEC Biology, Chemistry and Physics content.
The event was attended by the Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana, who congratulated the organisers and said that the Ministry fully supported the Olympiad.
