Next Saturday, there will be the opportunity to enjoy six plays, during a performance of rehearsed readings in the Ministry for Gozo Exhibition Hall, St Francis Square.
The plays were entered into the 2017 Gozo Live play writing competition. All the plays this year are in English and are short, but very varied in content. The audience will be able to enjoy the following:
The Last Policeman by Angelo Camilleri – reminiscent of a Stephen King story?
There but for the Grace of God … by Vincent Vella – take a step back in time.
The Stranded Schooner by George Camilleri – A Gozitan folktale brought to life on the stage.
The Dog Walker by Carole Toft – Would you ever take your Dog for a Walk after this?
The Honey Buzzard by Clive Gullifer – Controversial.
Heaven on Earth by Helene Markstein – calling everyone living in an apartment in Gozo.
So go along next Saturday, the 18th of November and enjoy a evening of entertainment and support local talent. It starts at 7.30pm, all are welcome and entrance is free of charge.
