A celebration for Sixth Form Day, is being organised by Sir Michelangelo Refalo Sixth Form in Victoria, Gozo, which currently serves as the main pre-tertiary institution on Gozo.
A morning of activities is being hosted by its Council on the day that will mark the 48th anniversary of the inauguration of the present premises as a technical institute. The activity is set to become an annual event.
This year the celebration day will take place on Monday, the 6th of November, from 10.45am to 2.45pm, on the newly-created Sir Michelangelo Refalo Sixth Form Campus.
It will feature, among others, performances by the Junior College Orchestra, Danny and Cash, together with live music and painting sessions by the institute’s students.
There will be a variety of food and drink stalls on campus to complement the celebrations. Student organisations will also be setting up their stalls.
Sir Michelangelo Refalo Sixth Form Council said that, “the aim of the event is to celebrate the spirit of this important pre-tertiary institute on our island, together with distinguished guests, alumni and prospective students, and the current lecturing staff and students.”
The general public is invited to attend.
