Games, fun and laughter for children at the Gozo Fun FestivalIt was an action packed Saturday morning with lots of games fun, and laughter, for the numerous Gozitan families attending the Fun Festival at the Gozo Sports Complex in Victoria.

The free of charge event was organised by the Ministry for Gozo, for the launch of the On the Move Gozo Programme 2017/2018.

Children were supervised by trained staff, helping to ensure a safe and happy environment.

The Festival was attended by the Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana, as well as the Special Olympics Gozo team.Games, fun and laughter for children at the Gozo Fun FestivalThe On the Move Gozo Programme 2017/2018, starts next Saturday, the 21st of October, and will continue through the winter and spring until Friday, the 18th of May, with a variety of sports disciplines for all ages:

Kids & Teens Programme: Kidz Blitz, FUNdamentals (4 – 8); Kinder 1, Kinder 2, Football, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Martial Arts, Badminton, Chess, Gymnastics, Athletics, Fitness, Dance, Cycling, Tennis, Squash, Horse Riding, Trekking, Archery.

The fee is €5 for the whole season, with the Ministry for Gozo subsidising €41 on the fee of €46. €5 will also be refunded if 75% of the programme is completed.

Saturday’s transport will be provided by the Ministry for Gozo from and to- all village squares.

Adults Programme: Line Dancing 16+, Yoga 16+, Keep Fit 16+, Keep Fit 60+.

The fee is €25 for the whole season, the Ministry of Gozo will subsidise €21 on the fee of €46.
