Yamaha confirms sponsorship for Gozo Motocross Championship

Women’s Cancer Gozo Association will be organising an Awareness Walk to Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary and back next Sunday at 10am. The meeting point is in front of the statue of John Paul II in Victoria. On October 7, there will be a bake sale at the Duke in Victoria.A second year of sponsorship with Yamaha by Gasan Zammit Ltd, has been confirmed by the Gozo Motocross Association.

Mr Frank Xuereb, who is the founder and president of Gozo Motocross Association, said, “following last year’s success, we are thrilled to be working a second term with Yamaha. The strong commitment between the two organisations has promoted and supported motocross racing in Gozo.”

He added that, “without their financial aid we would not have been able to move forward with our projects. As usual, we are committed to provide only the best for our riders.”

Yamaha said that it is determined to actively support the local annual championship throughout the year, as the Gozo Motocross Association provides “high end challenges to both local and visiting riders, while encouraging emerging talented riders who have the potential to participate in this exciting sport.”

Gasan Zammit Ltd. is the official local supplier of Yamaha in Malta and Gozo, a world-wide leading brand in motocross racing.
