A new Association has just been launched for Gozitan workers – the Association of Gozitan Employees in Malta.
The announcement was made this week by members of the Association, during an official meeting with the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana.
They said that the discussions held with the Minister, proved to be fruitful and paved the way for future collaboration and communication.
The Association said that its aim is “to safeguard, facilitate, and improve the rights, interests and working conditions of Gozitan employees working in Malta.”
“In doing so it will deal with the everyday problems and needs encountered from this minority group of workers, through constructive dialogue with all the relevant Government authorities,” the Association added.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, the 14th of October 2017, at 10am, in Victoria.
All Gozitan employees are invited to attend and participate in the AGM. Anyone interested in forming part of the Association’s General Executive Committee should register their interest by sending an email on: firstname.lastname@example.org
