Gozo Minister thanks Mobile Dentistry team who are in Victoria on Friday

The Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana, has thanked the students of the Faculty of Dentistry within the University of Malta, who have during this summer, “provided a huge service to Gozo and the Gozitans.”
Through the Mobile Dental Clinic visiting villages across the island, hundreds of Gozitans have benefited from the free service granted.
Dr Caruana, gave thanks to the Dean of the Faculty of Dental Surgery Professor Nikolai Attard and her team.
The University of Malta is this year celebrating 2 years of Community Service with the Mobile Dental Unit in the towns and villages of Malta and Gozo.
Tomorrow, Friday, the 22nd of September, the Clinic will be set up in St Francis Square, Victoria, for a free dental check up and advice on oral health – 8.30am-1.00pm.
This vehicle is fitted with all the necessary state of the art dental equipment to have a fully functioning dental clinic.
The Mobile Dental Clinic was set up and launched in 2015 by the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the University of Malta with the funds raised through the University’s Research Trust (RIDT).
The Mobile Dental Clinic forms part of University’s Health Outreach programme.
