Transport Malta has published a list of vehicles that have been removed from the road in Malta and Gozo, for being in breach of the Motor Vehicles Registration and Licensing Act and the Registration and Licensing of Motor Vehicles Regulations and which have not yet been retrieved by their lawful owners.
The list, in most cases, includes a description of the removed motor vehicle and the date when the motor vehicle was removed. The vehicles are currently being stored at Transport Malta’s compound.
Transport Malta said that owners are to retrieve their vehicle from TM upon submission of proof of ownership and upon payment of the applicable registration tax, licences, contraventions and other administration fees that may be due.
It said that any vehicles which are not retrieved and for which any applicable registration tax, licences, contraventions and other fees are not paid by the 27th of September 2017, will be auctioned and, if not sold, will be destroyed.
