The Environmental Health Directorate has said that that three of the five farms that had eggs tested for fipronil at the end of last month, will continue to be blocked as traces of fipronil were also found in the second sample.
In a statement the Directorate said the other two farms are now unblocked since eggs elevated directly from their farms contained no fipronil.
The Directorate went on to say that eggs withdrawn by all five farms are being destroyed under the supervision of the Health Inspectorate.
All farms are also being investigated by the veterinary authorities and it said samples have been elevated, with results expected early next week.
