The HSBC Water Programme – Catch the Drop was, for the fifth consecutive year, part of the annual summer school programme for children between 3 and 16 years of age – known as SkolaSajf.
In Gozo, a two-hour programme was held at Manresa House in Munxar for all the student participants of SkolaSajf 2017.
The Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana, attended the HSBC-sponsored activities and stressed on educating the upcoming generation on the importance of saving and storing water as a vital national resource.
During these SkolaSajf visits, the campaign helped improve the problem-solving and teambuilding skills of young students by introducing a new workbook called ‘Catch the Drop.’
The workbook is a result of collaboration between students from Maria Regina College Mosta Secondary (Zokrija), artist Andrea Delicata, and youth worker Anna Maria Grech.
All schools across Malta and Gozo have received copies of the workbook, which can also be downloaded by the public for free here.
SkolaSajf is organised by the Foundation for Education Services (FES) and offers children across Malta and Gozo the opportunity to make the most of their summer holidays.
