Ghasri and Nadur Local Councils taking part in National Clean-up dayThe ‘Let’s Do It’ National Clean-up Campaign event map has now been published, organised by JCI Malta & Malta Clean-up.

Taking place on Saturday, the 16th of September, in Malta and Gozo, so far they have 115 clean-up spots identified across the islands.

The organisers said that unfortunately, out of all Gozitan Councils, 3 initially registered an interest in taking part on the day, however only Ghasri and Nadur have contacted them with 6 detailed locations for clean-ups.

You can find the exact locations within the map; search for Gozo – Ghasri and Nadur, in the list and you’ll find the 6 sites listed on the map, click on each link and it highlights each location.

For any Gozitan who would like to participate they are urged to contact the Lets Do It Facebook page. Please also follow the facebook page for further information on times etc.

How can it be a national clean up day when only two councils are taking part Gozo is litter strewn all the village councils should be made to take part if every person picked up three pieces of litter every day what a difference it would make. I pick a bag of rubbish up every other day around where I live in Nadur.
