Final heat in this year's Giochi - it’s a knockout held at GhajnsielemThe final heat in this year’s 4th edition of Giochi – it’s a knockout, has taken place in Ghajnsielem.

The organisers thanked the Ghajnsielem Local Council and its members, in particular Mayor Franco Giangura, for making the event possible.

The games arena was in front of the Ghajnsielem band club and football club, with as always a good crowd of supporters for the teams and young entertainers.
Final heat in this year's Giochi - it’s a knockout held at GhajnsielemThe Ghajnsielem teams participating were: youths, footballers, ta l-Armar and seniors. The winning team, which went down to the final game, was the Black Bulls with 30 points followed by the Redcoats with 29 points.

The Black Bulls were presented with a trophy by the Mayor and medals were also awarded to all participants.

The winning team will now go on to represent Ghajnsielem in the Giochi – it’s a knockout Finals at Marsalforn on Sunday, the 17th of September, starting at 6.30pm.
Final heat in this year's Giochi - it’s a knockout held at GhajnsielemThey will meet the winning teams from Marsalforn, Xewkija and Xaghra. The finals will include games, on land and sea, together with a spectacular show by local singers and dancers.

Last year’s winners were Nadur, Kercem were the champions for 2015 and Xewkija in 2014.
