57 European youths take part in ‘Youths on the Move’ project in Gozo

Gozitan NGO, Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (ERRC) recently organised and managed a ‘Youths on the Move’ project at Dwejra.
This youth exchange project involved a total of 57 young people from a number of different EU countries: Malta, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Romania, Turkey, Russian Federation, Greece and Lithuania.
The 57 youths were involved in a camping activity at Dwejra, Gozo. The ERRC said that this helps to brings young people closer to nature and to help each other while enjoying basic living conditions in an idyllic UNESCO world heritage site.
The project aimed to develop understanding, knowledge and experience on living active and healthy lifestyles, promote active citizenship, social solidarity and inclusion and respect and mutual understandings of different cultures.
The ERRC organised numerous activities in an effort to reach these goals, with the young group actively participating in the varied outdoor events, physical activities, workshops, talks, tutorials and culinary nights, which were all intended to promote the main themes of the project.
The ‘Youths on the Move’ project was made possible with financial support by Erasmus+, managed by the EUPA and supported by MEUSAC.
