Gozo Edition of the Malta International Food Festival on Saturday

Next Saturday the The Malta International Food Festival comes to Gozo – with a Special Edition of Malta’s most popular food festival being held in Xewkija.
There will be many different tastes including authentic Asian cuisines, fresh Mediterranean delights, best of Europe and genuine Gozitan delicacies.
More than 10 food stands will be present at the Festival selling a host of culinary delicacies, with 7 international cuisines, offering no less than 50 different dishes, in this free street food festival with a focus on inclusivity. The map indicates where stands are located.
The organisers said that it will be a perfect night to discover new tastes, brewery stands and special wines for a tasting experience, all accompanied by a special set of live musicians right beneath the majestic Xewkija Parish church.
Those who love dessert will also not be disappointed with an overwhelming choice of sweets and home-made ice creams.
Entrance to the Festival is free of charge; patrons will then have to purchase tokens and redeem in any food they desire.
There will live band sessions throughout the evening and a children’s area with animated sessions.
The Gozo Edition of the Malta International Food Festival is being held on Saturday, the 2nd of September at Xewkija Main Square, from 6pm onwards.
Malta Public Transport will be offering a shuttle service on route 323 from the Mgarr Ferry Terminal to Xewkija Square till midnight.
