Centre Stage Dance Academy, a local dance school from Gozo, has been chosen to perform at Disneyland, Paris, this August.
43 dancers from the school, led by director Natalie Sciortino, successfully passed an audition process to perform at Videopolis, one of the park’s main theatres.
Their 25-minute show will take place this Friday morning and will include a variety of dance styles including modern jazz and lyrical.
This is the Academy’s third foreign dance experience, after being chosen twice to perform in London at the Royal Albert Hall for Dance Proms.
Natalie Sciortino said that, “this dance experience at Disney has been a dream for many of the young performers and it will soon become a reality, and it will be a particularly special one, as the park is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this summer.
We wish them luck and bon voyage!
