Beppe Galea elected as European Democrat Students’ Vice Chairman

Gozitan Beppe Galea, who has just been elected as the European Democrat Students’ (EDS) new Vice Chairman. The election took place during the EDS Summer University Council Meeting in Varna, Bulgaria, over the weekend.
Studenti Demokristjani Maltin (SDM) has congratulated Beppe Galea – who is its International Officer, on his achievement. In a statement SDM said that Beppe Galea has served on its Executive Board for 3 successive terms, as SDM’s first Gozo Coordinator, and subsequently as International Officer.
During the past year, Beppe has represented SDM in a number of EDS Council Meetings and was also a leading organiser in last March’s Winter University in Malta.
SDM also extended its best wishes to the new EDS Executive Bureau and and said that it looks forward to renewed co-operation between the two entities in the best interests of Maltese and European students, under the new leadership of Virgiglio Falco and Tomasz Kaniecki.
SDM Secretary General Neil Smart Costantino will be serving on the BullsEye Editorial Team for the second consecutive year. BullsEye is the in-house magazine of the European Democrat Students.
European Democrat Students is a pan-European centre-right student and youth political association. It represents over 1,600,000 students and young people in 40 member organisations from 35 countries in Europe, and is the largest student political association in Europe.
