Sannat School grounds open for the benefit of children with autism

The Sannat Gozo Primary school grounds in Gozo have reopened for the summer in an initiative allowing access to help children with autism and their families, to play within safe parameters.
The available spaces, now in the 5th year of organising, are the result of an initiative by The Marigold Foundation in conjunction with the Ministry for Education and Employment and have been accessible both in the summer and winter months in certain schools in Gozo and Malta.
Traditional playgrounds pose a danger to children with autism since, most often than not, these are next to streets and without any barrier, leaving children with autism vulnerable.
Sannat Gozo Primary opening hours:
Friday (18.00 -21.00)
Saturday (09.00 – 12.00).
