This new service, on the initiative of the Gozo Ministry, started on the 8th of July with an investment of thousands of euros, the Minister said.

The Mayor of Munxar Carmen Said, thanked the Minister for this initiative. She also spoke about the support that the Council receives with services provided by the Ministry, such as beach cleaners, maintenance workers and street cleaning.

The Chairman of the Xlendi Administrative Committee Mr Mark Busuttil, explained that the I love Xlendi programme will have at least one activity every weekend until the 16th of September.

Minister Justyne Caruana augured that Gozitan, Maltese and tourists appreciate this initiative, which brings together the natural beauty of Xlendi with a cultural summertime programme.

Congratulations to the Minister. I am very confident that she will do a lot for our dear Gozo. I guess there is also an ‘I love Ramla Bay’ and I love Hondoq under a different name and of all the beaches tourists and not so much touristic. Beaches are our lungs both for our tourists and for our family’s relaxation.
