The Gozo law courts are finally moving away from their lofty perch at the Citadel in Victoria.
After many complaints about the lack of parking facilities at the 16th century citadel, the courts are to be transferred to Fortunato Mizzi Street, next to the new secondary boy’s school in Victoria.
The move was planned as part of the Lm3 million project which is to replace the existing Ninu Cremona Lyceum with a new secondary school, complete with an underground car park that will also serve the law courts.
The entrance to the new law courts will be through the existing school entrance on Fortunato Mizzi Street, whilst the new school entrance will be on Europe Street.
