FAA welcomes opening of the Public Domain consultation

The announcement of the public consultation process on sites proposed to fall under the Public Domain, has been welcomed by Flimkien ghal Ambjent Ahjar.
In a statement FAA said that it had suggested sixteen of the sites currently being considered, “in the hope that these historical icons, gardens and invaluable parcels of unspoilt natural land be given a much needed additional layer of protection through their inclusion in the public domain.”
The NGO urged the public “to take advantage of this unique opportunity of a proactive stand for the preservation of our shared natural and cultural heritage by stating their approval of these site’s inclusion in the Public Domain, in their submissions to the Planning Authority.”
FAA added that, “we must do our utmost to protect these sites and ensure that they can be enjoyed by the public today and preserved for future generations of tomorrow.”
