Minister Justyne Caruana meets with the Gozo Business ChamberThe Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana, has met with representatives from the Gozo Business Chamber.

During this meeting, which took place at the Ministry for Gozo. discussions were held on various themes that directly affect the local business market.

Among the topics discussed were the current issues that have already been raised and the challenges that exist today in Gozo, as well as the future of businesses in Gozo.

The Gozo Business Chamber representatives spoke about the business situation at present and the direction they would like to see for their future in Gozo.

For her part, Minister Caruana spoke about the projects that the Ministry aims to carry out in the future.

Dr Caruana also highlighted the willingness to collaborate with the Gozo Business Chamber in order that future projects are carried out in such a way that businesses can benefit, as well as have a good economic impact.

They also talked about the modus operandi between the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Business Chamber, in order to have full and effective collaboration, “even through the inclusion of the GBC in the Ministerial processes in relation to investment projects,” the Minister said.

Finally, they discussed the various studies that are to be carried out, as set out in the Labour Party Election Manifesto, to analyse the skills gap, as well as the choices that Gozitans are looking for in terms of career.

The Minister for Gozo said that both sides agreed that their full and continuous collaboration will make the development of the Gozitan economy a key driver for wealth, as well as for the creation of various employment positions that will continue to help the development of the Gozitan economy.
