This weekend Nadur village will be buzzing with activity for the 24th annual traditional Wirja Agrarja – Agricultural Fair, taking place as part of the celebrations for the feast of Imnarja which is celebrated in Nadur.
It promises to be a feast for the eyes, and visitor to the Fair, which takes place over two days, will be able to enjoy a variety of events, including an exhibition of local farm products, crafts, artisans, antique farming tools, traditional Gozitan food and wine tasting.
Farm animals are also exhibited and pets will be blessed on Sunday morning by the village Archpriest Mons. Jimmy Xerri.
This very popular annual fair is organised by the Nadur Local Council and will be held at l-Arcipriet Martin Camilleri Square (il-Pjazzetta).
The Fair is open this Saturday, the 17th of June, (from 8:00 pm onwards) and Sunday, the 18th of June, (from 8:00am onwards).
