The winners of the Creative Writing Competition, organised by Gozo Live/Gozo College, were announced during a special event held at the Gozo College Middle School on Thursday
The entrants had to write a story, poem or essay on the theme of travel/transport in the most creative and original way that they could think of.
The organisers congratulated all the students that entered the competition and said that the judges had a hard time selecting the winners.
Any prize winners who were not able to attend the event should approach their head teachers about collecting their prize.
All students, teachers and parents are reminded that the 2017 writing participation is now open for entries.
Selected entries in this participation will go into the 4th edition of the Young Writers of Gozo book to be published at the end of this year. Full rules are obtainable from firstname.lastname@example.org
Gozo Live said that due to the kind generosity of their sponsors, Eco Gozo, Bargate, Mt Charles Coyne, Faraxa Publishers and Merlin Publishers, they were able to award many excellent prizes.
