Anton Refalo elected in first count for Gozo with 4,853 votesUpdate: Anton Refalo of the Labour Party has been elected in Gozo, after he received a first count vote of 4,853, which is down on the number at the end of the 2008 elections when he received 5,264 votes.

In Gozo there were 28,680 registered voters, with 26,257 votes cast or 91.6%, 25,833 were valid votes or 98.4% and 424 were invalid votes or 1.6%.

This is how the voting went in Gozo in the 24th General Election: The Labour Party garnered the most votes with  13,233 votes or 51.23%, against PN with 12,361, or 47.85% of the votes. AD received 126 votes, or 0.49% of the votes and MPM 72 votes or 0.28% of the votes.

      In 2015 the population of Gozo was 31,500, assuming it has gone up a bit to say 35,000, how do you get 28,680 registered voters? Are there only 6.000 immigrants and under 18’s?
