Cultural tour of Vittoriosa on December 14th

BirguThe next Malta Council for Culture and the Arts monthly cultural tour will be held on Sunday the 14th of December 2008. During this Cultural tour visitors will be exploring the Norman House in Vittoriosa and the opportunity to tour the main attractions in Vittoriosa with a virtual electronic guide. Participants will also cross to Senglea on a Maltese traditional boat (dghajsa tal-pass). In Senglea the tour will be visiting Fort St Michael and St Julian’s chapel. Refreshments will also be served.

These monthly Cultural Tours are organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts and form part of their annual Cultural Calendar of Events. They enhance the understanding of our local culture and serve to promote and divulge knowledge on Maltese and Gozitan historical heritage, traditions and skills. Indeed, past Cultural Tours have been well received and feedback for the current ones is positive. The organisers extend their appreciation to Heritage Malta and The Malta Union of Tourist Guides for their support.

Transport will leave from Floriana (next to the Independence Monument) and Sliema (opposite Nazzarene Church) at 8.45am. Tickets are at €11 for adults and €8.50 for senior citizens and children. Further special reduced prices are available upon booking for the whole series of Cultural tours.
