Parliamentary Secretary Justyne Caruana has said that she welcomed the request of the Gozo Diocese for literature to assist children with autism spectrum disorder during their catechism lessons.
The informative material was presented to Bishop Mario Grech during a visit made by Dr Caruana to the Bishop’s Conservatory Secondary School in Victoria, Gozo.
Justyne Caruana explained that through this assistance, as well as other initiatives, we are continuing to encourage greater inclusion for people in the autism spectrum, so that they may join in and participate in activities as and when they wish.
