A Sacred Art exhibition – The Holy Journey – by Italian artist Amedeo Brogli and curated by Fr Charles Cini, SDB, is taking place at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry for Gozo in Victoria.
Amedeo Brogli was born in Basilicata, Italy, at Palazzo S. Gervasio (Pz) on August 21, 1948, and lives and works in Rome.He graduated as a Stage Designer at the Naples Academy of Fine Arts and started his professional activity in the world of art and show business.
Amedeo Brogli has organised solo exhibitions in Rome at the Complesso del Vittoriano and S.Salvatore in Lauro, at the Estensi stables of Tivoli, and at the Columbus Centre of Toronto.Brogli is a distinguished painter of religious art, he has illustrated the “Lauretane Litanies” published by Edizioni Vaticane, produced altar pieces, tapestries for canonisation ceremonies, stained glass windows, mosaics and sculptures for churches and religious sites.
