BirdLife Malta’s CEO has his car vandalised, with tyres slashed

BirdLife Malta CEO Mark Sultana’s car vandalised this morning, with tyres slashed. BirdLife Malta condemns act and expresses solidarity with its CEO.
This morning BirdLife Malta Chief Executive Mark Sultana was out birdwatching in the vicinity of Jerma in Marsaskala. BLM said that “on his return to the car, he found that it had been vandalised. All four tyres of his parked car were slashed by an unknown individual or individuals.”
“The area where this happened is well known for illegal hunting activities. Sultana immediately filed a report at the police station and investigations are ongoing,” BirdLife said.
BirdLife Malta concluded by saying that it “condemns this vandal and the cowardly act and expresses solidarity with CEO Mark Sultana.”
